Abstract:

The quality of publications in Azerbaijan at the era of Reza-Shah has basic changes to the prior times. The pages of these publications allocated to admiration of Reza-Shah internal reports and news of Azerbaijan and Iran. There is not any criticism about the country circumstances and high-ranking officials of Pahlavi reign. They had a short duration and there is not any political and social article about freedom and rights of the population. But the publications during the years 1941-1945 criticized the heavy chaos of Iran and Azerbaijan at the era of Reza-Shah and his son. The quality and quantity improvement and print of Turkish articles show their release of detective atmosphere of the society. The main reason of the first period (1925-1941) situation is the political mighty, lack of freedom of speech and a deep gloom over the society. But at the second period (1941-1945) the open political atmosphere had caused the identification of parties' activities and their tendency to Soviet, and affected publications in agreement with those events.

Abstract:

The attempt to rethink on the traditional mental models is an outcome of Iran and the west relations during contemporary period. In this way, Iranian Modern Intellectuals have challenged the concept of childhood and the status of children and proposed a new definition of childhood which entered the society in a new era. The main problem of this paper is about the status of Iranian child in the Reza Shah’s modernization process and the changes which the concept of childhood experienced during that period. The main hypothesis of this research is that the concept of childhood during Reza Shah period was the result of the changes which have been started from preconstitutional period in the public perceptions and emerged as a part of the demands of the constitutionalist intellectuals and by passing time from Qajar period to Pahlavi period it has been given to the society and the new government as a legacy. Quarantine history in Iran is as old as Qajar dynasty period. At this time the quarantine of Persian gulf ports was ruled by England, but Reza Shah tried to improve the Iran governmental control on the southern ports as he intended to establish an efficient central government and control the frontiers more than former time and this caused quarreling between Iran and England which didn't want to accept Iran authority on quarantine. Finally Iran could impose its politics and the southern quarantine organizations became independent from England. This study is focused on the process of Iran's control on southern quarantine and Bushehr hospital between 1306-1308.
